What does it take to write these stories?
People who are not afraid of rethinking – practically everything.
And that without falling into the traps of patronising, dogmatism, demanding, populism or condescension, but rather people who ride the waves of all our potentials like the explorer who cares deeply about planet and people, who knows that there is always more to discover and who loves a good laugh, who knows the value of speculations and questions and who embraces the occasional absurdity.

A list of stories suitable for film & series

breaking the cycle

  • racism (storyline is introduced in book 2/1, travelling)
  • domestic violence
  • abuse
  • poverty
  • homelessness (some ideas are introduced in the easy town story. There are two character stories who could be intriguing.)
  • arrogance in doctors (I wish I didn’t have any material on this.)
  • crime
  • exploitation
  • being rich
  • destructing the planet
  • careers
  • dominance
  • divisions

The invention of evil

A storyline for a movie is introduced in book 2/1, travelling. The introduced idea is full of potential for several movies, spanning across millennia of stories.

Divisions

  • gender (I hate women, I hate men, outlines for two series which occasionally overlap exists. This is an exploration into why women hate women and why men hate men and could, of course, be into the likewise unnecessary cross-hatreds.)
  • classes
  • professions
  • lifestyles
  • races
  • languages
  • religions

Making

  • making Berlin (et all, storyline for Berlin exists, is both a bit absurd, sort of radical but in a relentlessly rational way. This story idea could be adapted to pretty much any city, preferably big cities, I think. And each of these stories would be wildly different.)
  • making school
  • making work
  • making life

Make it happen stories

This one is easy. Take something that makes you angry, or something that you think should be changed and make it happen in a story.

Free Towns

A rough storyline for a network of African Free Towns exists. I love it. And it could easily be set on any continent with the effect of balancing our mad worlds.

The end of all wars

Presently more than fifty storylines are introduced on the website: the-end-of-all-wars.net And the first of these stories: planet one, the roots of war, will be published soon. This story can easily be translated for film & theatre and it has a story within the story that’s also film & theatre material.

Views from around the universe

Presently about ten storylines are introduced and about sixty-eight in preparation. See views-from-around-the-universe.net

breastless

Not sure where I would go with this one. But it would be about finding lightness for cancer patients, and ease about breasts and breastlessness. For more see: breastless.net

campaigns

The easy town book, book 4/1, is full of fun campaigns which can inspire us to shape our world. There is a lot of potential here for individual stories.

scenario stories

  • a mobile world without planes
  • a world without fossil fuels
  • a world where the only meat we eat is the meat we hunt
  • a world where we empower each other
  • and a lot more

… and there is more where these came from.

Jack Harris in the easy town books

Why are there movies in the easy town books?

One of the characters, Jack Harris, is a famous movie star and his movies get the occasional mention. So far, two of his movies have an actual storyline in book 2/1, travelling, and in the case of The invention of evil, it would be perfect to combine the book story with a link to the actual movie.

In book 3, shaping, another movie gets some scenes, and book 4/2, building, will include Jack’s complete movie list when he tells his personal story.
